It has a mild, distinctive taste similar to a blend of lemon and sage. Ground coriander seed is frequently found in desserts and sweet pastries, as well as in curries, meat, seafood dishes, stews and marinades. It is an internationally popular spice for South American, Indian, Mediterranean and African cuisine.
